Sustainability is often only associated with climate protection. But the term encompasses far more than that. That is why our strategy is based on three pillars. We want to make a comprehensive contribution that contributes to both economic and social goals.

OUR PARTNERS
We have been an official partner of PLANT-MY-TREE® since 2021. The non-profit organization maintains and protects our native forests through targeted reforestation, ensuring that they remain a natural habitat for native plants and animals.
Together with ClimatePartner, we have developed a strategy to reduce our carbon footprint and make our hybrid office routine sustainable. By supporting climate protection projects, we have been climate-neutral since 2021.
Information on our CO2 footprint
Our carbon footprint was calculated on the basis of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard. The five basic principles of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Accounting and Reporting Standard (GHG Protocol) were followed in the preparation of this carbon footprint and this report.
Scope 1 includes all emissions that are generated directly, for example by the company’s own facilities or vehicle fleets.
Scope 2 covers emissions caused by purchased energy, for example electricity and district heating.
Scope 3 includes all other emissions that are not under the direct control of the company, such as employee travel or product disposal.

Our measures to reduce emissions
The aim is to further reduce our emissions. This primarily concerns Scope 3 emissions.

Avoiding business trips and using lower-emission means of transportation, e.g. public transport and bicycles.

Involvement of partners and customers in climate protection measures, e.g. through best practice exchange and targeted campaigns.

employees
Involving employees in the implementation of climate protection measures, e.g. through social days.
CO2 neutralization with ClimatePartner
Every year, we support a climate project to neutralize our CO2 emissions. You can find out more about the current project here.
Organizations that we support
With our birthday donation campaign, 25 euros go to betterplace.org for every employee's birthday. We use this money to support PLANT-MY-TREE®, Viva con agua and Ozeankind.
By offsetting our CO2 emissions, Troi has been 100% climate neutral since 2021.
